When using butyl rubber to make insulating glass, attention should be paid to:
1. Clean the aluminum partition strip of the insulated glass and set it aside.
2. Preheat the butyl hot melt sealant into the extruder cylinder to 130-140 ℃, keep the temperature controller at a constant temperature, and then take out the adhesive strip to check for uniformity without interruption. Apply the adhesive strip to the aluminum partition groove of the insulating glass, let it cool slightly, and press it with clean glass to form the semi-finished insulating glass product.
3. After applying the outer sealant and curing, it is the finished product of insulated glass.
4. When using an imported rapid gluing machine for production, the temperature of the glue cylinder should be increased by 10-15 ℃, and the extrusion pressure should be adjusted from 150Mpa to 170-200Mpa to achieve uniform gluing.
Attention: When using butyl hot melt sealant, hands should be clean, and the surface of the sealant should not be contaminated with dust, oil, and solvents (such as gasoline, etc.). When applying the sealant, gloves that do not shed hair can be worn. Be careful not to burn yourself when coming into contact with hot glue. Gloves that come into contact with glue should be clean and free of burrs or other contaminants that can easily stick to the glue. When applying butyl hot melt sealant, the temperature should be controlled below 160 ℃, and it is strictly prohibited to apply it above 170 ℃ to avoid aging and decomposition of the adhesive.

According to Hu Jie, Executive Vice Chairman of the China Synthetic Rubber Industry Association, China's synthetic rubber industry, after ranking first in consumption in 2003 and first in production in 2009, is expected to leap to a higher production capacity this year. By the end of this year, the total capacity of China's major synthetic rubber plants is expected to reach 3.33 million tons, of which 520000 tons will be added this year, an increase of 18.5% compared to 2010. It is expected that the total production of synthetic rubber for the whole year will exceed 2.7 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 12%.
According to the current development trend, the association predicts that by the end of the 12th Five Year Plan, the annual production capacity of synthetic rubber plants in China will approach 6 million tons. Assuming the import volume remains unchanged, the overall utilization rate of the device will only be 63%; Assuming 50% of the import volume is replaced by domestic products, the overall utilization rate of the equipment will only be 74%.
Qi Runtong, Secretary General of the Synthetic Rubber Association, pointed out that in the future, synthetic rubber enterprises will face fierce market competition, and there will be a significant shortage in the supply of raw materials for synthetic rubber production, such as butadiene and isoprene.
